Here are the main button icons available at all times or almost all times when using JRMS. |
| 1. Saving your last changes. NOTE: JRMS automatically saves once you make any changes to your fields. This icon is just here for cosmetic purpose. |
| 2. Print Preview. |
| 3. Printer Setup. Allows you to select a printer from the ones you have installed in Windows and setup its basic configuration. |
| 4. Print. Directly print the current page or print preview on your selected printer. |
| 5. Page Layout. You may need to change the margins of some documents in order to work properly with your specific printer and to avoid printing blank pages. |
| 6. Cancel. If you wish to cancel your last action. Go back to the previous text entered in a field |
| 7. & 8. Sort Data. Simply place your mouse cursor in a field from any JRMS screen (eg. CASE screen, Case Number Field) then click on one of these 2 icons to sort all your recorded data by ascending or descending order. |
| 9. Filter by Selection. Simply place your mouse cursor in a field from any JRMS screen then click on this Icon. This will filter your records with this entry. Let say you wish to filter your cases by PLAINTIFF JOHN X... click on the field where JOHN X appears, click on icon 9. Your database now shows only the records for plaintiff JOHN X |
| 10. Show all records. This icon cancels all filter that may be applied at the moment to your database. |
| 11. Linked Tables Manager. If you get an error Message when clicking on the Start button the first time you start the application this is not a bug. It happened because you changed the default install path. You simply need to re-set the link between the application and the backend database file named JRMSDAT.MDB. To do so, from the intro screen, click on the LINKED TABLES GENERATOR icon on the top of your screen, a pop up window will appear. Select all tables, click on OK, browse your hard drive to find the path of your JRMSDAT.MDB file (it should be in the same folder as the main MDE file). Once the procedure is finished, click on close. Your application is now correctly linked to your data file. You can now start JRMS! |
| 12. to 14. Fonts controls. Allows you to change the font type, size, color for the selected field. |
