If you get an error message when launching your application once you click on START this is probably because your backend data (which is located in the JRMSDAT.mdb file) isn't linked properly to the application. Doing so it simple follow these few steps. |
| 1. Launch JRMS and stay on the introduction screen. |
| 2. Click on the Linked Tables Manager on top of your screen this will open the linked table manager window |
| 3. Select ALL tables and click on OK |
| 4. Browse your hard drive to find and point to the JRMSDAT.mdb file. Click on open. You're all set. You can now start JRMS properly and access your data. |
NOTE: IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO MAKE FREQUENT BACKUPS OF YOUR JRMSDAT.MDB FILE.
You can make backup copies of your data regularily by copying and renaming the JRMSDAT.mdb file. In Windows Explorer find the file copy CTRL+C paste CTRL+V and rename the copy JRMSDATbackup.mdb. This can be useful to work on data from a set period of time. |
